HealthFile, Inc is a medical billing company established in Panama City, Florida. The management team of HealthFile, Inc is comprised of M. Nelson Scott and Lee M. Scott. HealthFile, Inc. utilizes a state of the art computer system to closely monitor a proven directive of cyclical billing. Our backgrounds are strong in financial matters, management, organization and health insurance. We are a no nonsense firm specializing in doing what we say we do. Your contacts as a provider are the same people that work on your account on a daily basis. We do not employ any sales people. Our president and Vice-President do the initial set-up on all new accounts. After the account is "established", the day to day operations become the responsibility of the assigned team of account representatives. The management team consisting of the president and vice-president will constantly be monitoring the successes and problems of the account via a multitude of reports. Both are available for calls and conferences in addition to your account representatives. Our services include billing insurance, billing patient statements, follow-up on failures to pay by both insurance and patients, accepting and working all phone calls related to a patient's outstanding balance and assisting your staff in front desk collections, authorizations, and education. M. Nelson Scott, President of HealthFile, Inc., received his Bachelor of Science with Honors in Finance from the University of Florida. He has completed additional post-graduate studies at Florida State University. Mr. Scott has over ten years of management, banking, computer and other financial experience. He has worked as a bank branch manager, a commercial loan officer, a business advisor, and a business manager. His strength has been the ability to take disorganized companies and turn them around. His exceptional organizational abilites are success proven. Mr. Scott oversees and reviews all accounts receivable reports. His financial / management expertise is utilized to analyze pricing practices, adjustments, and various productivity measuring devices. He implements systems and practices that make offices work. Lee M. Scott received her Bachelor of Arts in communication from Eckerd College. She received a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Cumberland School of Law. She is a candidate for a Masters in Law and Letters (LLM) in government contract law from the National Law Center, George Washington University. Mrs. Scott has over ten years of experience in insurance and billing. In addition, she has an extensive knowledge of coding and fling procedures. Mrs. Scott has worked as an attorney, as a college adjunct professor, a medical office manager and a bookkeeper. Mrs. Scott oversees all data entry and is on-site to deal with all facets of the billing / statement cycle for each account. Her advanced qualifications allow HealthFile, Inc. to stay current on applicable insurance regulations.
